Being an expat is usually about living cheap and trying to save money in order to survive on a relatively small income. Luckily that is not the case for everyone but for the ones that need to save as much as possible, living in a cheap place really makes a difference. Now of course there are some places that are a lot cheaper than others. For example if you want to live in Bangkok, Thailand you would spend a lot less than you would spend in Oslo, Norway.
So it all comes down to planning and being smart when trying to choose where to live. That is why I wanted to share this list that I found online. It is a list of 10 places that expats can live cheaply accompanied by a rough estimate of the monthly spending there.
Do keep in mind that it does vary a lot from person to person but at least this list gives some what of an idea of where it is cheap to stay. Enjoy!

Do keep in mind that these are only estimates and that costs can and will vary depending on who that travels. But all in all this list pretty much sums upp the cheapest places to look for a place to stay. That is if you are on a tight budget!
I know for a fact that Chiang Mai in Thailand is one of the cheapest places to live for expats and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to stay. I loved it there even though I was just visiting for a month!
